Good day for a librarian

This afternoon the humanities department chair, who is hands-down my favorite coworker and who I've been working closely with lately, brought me flowers. Flowers! She said she wanted to thank me for all I've done for her classes lately. Considering that working with her students is the best part of my job and the part that makes me feel like a real librarian, even the "thank you" would have been unnecessary. Who knew that I'd get gifts for doing my job?
