Nice place to visit, I just wouldn't want to live there
Things that St. Louis has that Chicago does not:
1. Wineries
2. Free museums
3. Ted Drewe's frozen custard, specifically the Great Pumpkin (an entire slice of pumpkin pie and some frozen custard mushed together, with whipped cream on top)
4. My friend Angela, who baked doughnut muffins
I don't think I've eaten or drunk so much in years, if ever. It was obscene. I highly recommend it. At least for a visit.

3 Comments:
Things that Folsom has within driving distance that St. Louis does not.
1. MORE and BETTER wineries. (That's right, I said it.)
2. Lake Tahoe and it's majestic mountains. (That's right, majestic, god damn it. If you have to break your leg skiing, what better place to do it?)
3. San Francisco (seals, alcatraz, palace of the fine arts, cool bookstores, chinese men with herbs)
4. Folsom zoo (with reject animals that can't hack it at the Sacramento Zoo. You should meet Toothless the squirrel. I think his problem is rather obvious.)
5. Folsom prison and gift shop (homemade shanks for the kids)
6. ME!!
There's simply no contest.
Ooh, ooh and number 7: It only snows when you want it to.
I'm on the next plane. I can't believe I've made it this long without seeing Toothless the Squirrel.
And I should hope your wineries are better than St. Louis's! Theirs only merit mention because they're better than no wineries, like there are here.
